Loosing Wisdom

Tomorrow. 10:45am.  I’m going in.

Time to get my wisdom teeth taken out.  Yup.  All 4 of them.  And there is some hard core business happening in there!  If you can picture it…all 4 are impacted, 2 are growing towards the root of the other tooth AND there is a possibility of those 2 teeth being partially in my jaw bone… IM NOT NERVOUS AT ALL!  HA,HA!

Ok…maybe a little. I will let you know how it goes.

First things First.

Today I had the opportunity to catch up with a friend and great graphic designer, Sheila Buchanan.  We are working together to create the branding for Dani Vox so I can start marketing my WAY AWESOME skillz as a voice over artist and soooooon, my singing.

Here’s the skinny about branding…ITS IMPORTANT!!!!

Anyone going into business for themselves should think seriously about their branding.  This, is your face, without your face!  Get a great graphic designer to create a logo for you.  This will make things sooo much easier for you when trying to make a business card, promo materials or a website.  Your branding needs to be TIGHT and it needs to be carried out though ALL of your marketing materials!

I cant wait to get my final logo so I can share it with you!

Thanks for stopping by!

Let Me Introduce Myself!

My name is Danielle Hall, aka Dani Vox.  I am a photographer/retoucher making the transition into voice over acting.

I was first turned on to VO’s about 3 years ago.  I was on a shoot where the videographer, Nicholas Tucker,  stopped me in conversation and said, “You have a great girly voice!  Have you ever thought about doing voice overs?!?!”

I was little taken back by this.  Its not everyday someone tells me that I have a “GREAT GIRLY VOICE!”  He gave me the name of a friend of his, Jason Klofstad, who is a busy, successful VO artist.  It took a YEAR for us to meet and then another six months before I event went to the recommended Into Class at Voice One with Elaine Clark.  I have been hooked ever since.

There are so many things I love about voice overs.  One in particular is that I have the opportunity to audition to be so many different types of people, characters and even objects with an array of backgrounds and emotions.  I am excited to embark on this new road and share with you what I learn.

Thank you for stopping by!  More to come!
